I cannot believe that it has been almost a year since I started this blog (isn’t it amazing how fast time flies, I literally remember my first post). In that time, it has been amazing to go on this life journey with all my readers. I began this blog because a close friend of mine highly suggested that I start one. I was very hesitant then; however, I eventually gave in. She told me I had a story to tell and should share it with whoever would listen. She said she could not understand how I had so much wisdom from living such a short life. I thought she was just talking, but I think she was right. Over this last year, I have had complete strangers message me to tell me how impactful my post was. If I ever had any doubts about writing a blog, they were quickly squashed when I heard this. In every blog post, I try to share my life experience; and I do it honestly.
I know I have been gone for a while, and many wondered whether I had quit. The answer is no! I took a brief hiatus, and during that time, I had the opportunity to discover, grow, and change. You know what that means; I have many valuable life lessons that I have learned and that I am so excited to share with all of my readers. In this new season, there will be many changes. We all know with change comes headaches, heartaches, and heartbreaks, but there is also joy, success, and happiness. To those who have already joined the journey, continue on the ride. To those of you who haven’t—join the journey.
