Life’s Love Letter
Life’s the instructor, I’m the eager pupil. The world’s our vibrant classroom, trials the unexpected exams. As for this blog? It’s your thoughtful textbook, analyzing the curriculum of existence. Care to join the lesson?
Antonio started “Lessons Learned, Wisdom Earned” as a heartfelt tribute to life’s journey. Throughout his life, he has faced both triumphs and setbacks, recognizing that he is not alone in these experiences. “We may encounter different hurdles and obstacles, but our journey is essentially the same,” he reflects, a realization that inspired him to create this blog. With each keystroke, Antonio aims to craft a narrative that resonates with those who read his words, making them both accessible and relatable. He wants every reader to grasp that life itself is the teacher, and the lessons can be learned either voluntarily or involuntarily.
Q&A about ‘Lessons Learned. Wisdom Earned.’ with Antonio
Q: How did the title ‘Lessons Learned. Wisdom Earned.’ come about?
Antonio: I was always super observant, even as a child. Observing others go through things helped me draw conclusions about what I wanted to avoid or learn from. These were lessons I couldn’t get in the classroom. I knew I wanted “Lessons Learned” in the title, but I wanted to avoid a cliché. So, I started thinking about what comes after lessons. If we’re smart, we gain discernment and wisdom. That’s when it hit me: Wisdom Earned.
Q: You mentioned that if we learn the lesson, we gain discernment and wisdom. What happens to those who don’t get it?
Antonio: Sadly, they repeat the same mistakes. Life will teach you the lesson whether you gain wisdom from it or not. Some people, I used to call them fools (though that’s not nice), so now I call them practicing insanity seekers. I feel that if you don’t learn by 25, it’s tough, but I hope they keep trying, and I hope they continue to visit my blog to learn.
Q: You took a two-year break from writing ‘Lesson’s Learned. Wisdom Earned.’. Why? And why are you relaunching now?
Antonio: Life got in the way. Broken relationships, lost friendships, professional and personal changes. I needed to navigate new trials and gain clarity. Unfortunately, it took two years. But I kept journaling and now, seeing all the lessons I learned, it feels like the right time to relaunch. I’m in a different place, my heart and soul are free, and it’s time to share.
Q: Where do you see ‘Lessons Learned.’ going?
Antonio: Honestly, I don’t even know. It’s about sharing my story, not who chooses to access it. This blog is a love letter to life. You don’t become rich or famous from writing love letters, but I’m just thankful that people read and share. I’m forever grateful.
Q: Any final thoughts?
Antonio: I encourage everyone to be receptive to life’s lessons. It’s painful to see people hurting over past mistakes. Seek mental health treatment or spiritual counseling – something constructive to help heal and grow. Life is always teaching; we just need to be willing to learn.
